Product Description:
Let’s face it: Underneath the rhetoric of wanting to transform their industries, founders ultimately want to get acquired by a larger company. They dream of this exit, and how the windfall will change their lives for the better. In The Finishers, author Ezra Ferraz collects the stories of the few founders who have successfully exited in the Philippines, documenting their journeys from budding entrepreneurs to newly-minted millionaires.

The Finishers should be required reading for any founder who wants to scale their business, disrupt their industry, and defeat their competition.

If you want to build a business in the Philippines, you should learn from our nation’s most successful founders. The Finishers collects 11 first-hand stories of entrepreneurs who managed to scale their tech startup and exit via acquisition.
In addition to the core editorial team, "The Finishers" was also made possible through Writer Mr. Ezra Ferraz ; Afterword Guest Sen. Bam Aquino ; Illustrator Mr. Don Fumar.

Great book for Philippine founders

There's unfortunately not a lot of books about the Philippine startup ecosystem, which is understandable, given that it's still in early stages. The Finishers captures some of the greatest successes of the ecosystem's first twenty years. These founders exited their startups, and most remain key figures in the ecosystem today, either as serial entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, or thought leaders. This book gave me a lot of practical insight into building a startup here and also introduced me to these key players, several of whom I've since had the privilege of meeting in person. I would recommend The Finishers to anyone who wants a greater understanding of the history of the tech ecosystem in the Philippines, especially for those who may want to build and launch their own startup.
