A new installment in a life-changing book series has officially taken its place on the platform of Bookshelf PH.
Bookshelf PH launched the third volume of Fearless Filipinas on March 31, 2026, at Book Nook, The Podium. The Fearless Filipinas series highlights the inspirational and unique stories of Filipino women who have pioneered a wide range of fields, including entrepreneurship, media, sports, and more.
The launch event featured a panel discussion with several of the book’s featured women, namely Agatha Wong, Ceej Tantengco Malolos, Miko Calo, Issa Barte, Rowena Reyes, Pia Campos, Jasmin Vinculado, and Niña Terol. Each panelist responded to questions tailored to their personal journeys, alongside broader questions open to the group. The discussion explored themes such as the uniqueness of the Filipina experience, breaking barriers, expanding opportunities, fostering inclusivity, and ultimately, shaping a “fearless” future. Toward the end of the session, the audience was also given the opportunity to engage with the speakers through an open forum.
Attendees included Bookshelf PH staff and officials, family members and friends of the featured women, media partners, and readers interested in the series. Following the discussion, guests participated in a photo opportunity with the panelists. Complimentary copies of Fearless Filipinas Volume 3 were distributed to the featured women, media partners, and Book Nook.
The event offered a glimpse into what the third volume brings to its readers: a compelling drive to persevere despite challenges and a deeper understanding of the realities faced by women—particularly Filipinas—in the country today. Ultimately, the book captures what it means to be a Fearless Filipina.
